Do not buy this light – J. Valentine – Louisville, KY
I hate this light. Yes, it is bright, but it needs to be redesigned. It needs an on/off switch. To make it come on, you twist it, like a mag-light. I put it on my keychain and you have to turn it so it doesn’t come on when it’s in your pocket or purse, which means you have to twist it way loose. Therefore, now it is loose and this is the battery compartment. There is a fine line between accidentally coming on all the time and running the 4, yes 4 watch batteries down, or taking a chance on it being so loose that it falls apart… which it does often. This morning, I was putting my keys in my coat pocket and it fell apart. All 4 batteries went rolling around the parking garage and I spent 15 minutes trying to find them. By the way, even though it says the bulb last for thousands of hours, the batteries don’t…. to replace 4 watch-size batteries cost more than double the price of the light to begin with, so when the batteries go dead, throw the thing away. What a poor design. If you buy this light you will be disappointed!

The authors have some good insights, like that America is full of co-dependants and encourages co-dependant relationships (not always on purpose of course) but they get much wrong.
There is also some odd contradictions and nonsense in this book, for example on page 76 they define dishonesty as a form of denying the truth. That makes no sense because dishonesty is not a form of denying the truth, IT IS denying the truth.
On page 80 they suggest a poor way for detecting “Denial” which they define as self-dishonesty: They recommend that you look for muscle tension, especially in the head and stomach area.
It would make more sense to see if you are lying to yourself by simply thinking about what the reality is, and what you claim it is. You could also ask someone known for being truthful to evaluate what you believe or say. And of course, the best standard to gauge truth is the Bible.
I would totally avoid using this book as a self-help guide. A simple and quick solution to life’s miseries is turning to God, start from there. First of all, I have no opinion. I have never played the first one and was never planning to get the second. I am merely here to lay down the facts. I got an issue of a game magazine and there was a review of this game- they normally get it prereleased. The game, apparently, was a true disappointment. Not only was it exactly like the last one, but it was apparently very repetitive and exactly like the last game. I heard the first one was great, but supposedly the second one is kind of a bummer.
